At the age of 21, he started his career in the field of acting as a theatrical artist and made his feature film debut in 1995 with Rajasenan's comedy flick Aniyan Bava Chetan Bava. He was starred in many movies like variety of supporting and comedic roles. He is well recognized for his comedic roles in Sreekrishnapurathe Nakshatrathilakkam, Vrudhanmare Sookshikkuka, and Vaamanapuram Bus Route. K. T. S. Padannayil date of birth is in 1933 in Thekkumbhagam, Thrippunithura, Kochi. He is the youngest child of his parents from six children. His parents are Kochupadannayil Thai and Maani. Murukan, Raghavan, and Shivan were his brothers, while Lalitha and Lathika were his sisters. He has done his studies from Tripunithura's Saraswathi Vilasam School. He dropped out of school after sixth grade owing to financial issues. He began his career as a theatrical artist before transitioning to movies. He initially appeared in and directed the drama Vivaha Dallal during the annual day celebration of Trippunithura Khadibhavan's Amber charkha spinning mill. He also trained children from the Kannankulangara Children's Society. He has acted in many theatrical troupes, including Jayabharath Nithakalalaya, Chenagassery Geetha, Vaikom Malavika, Kollam Tuna, and Attingal Padmasree. He has done many movies and also worked in tv series. Some of his well known roles that he worked in is Aniyan Bava Chetan Bava, Kunjiramayanam, Amar Akbar Anthony, Sreekrishnapurathe Nakshathrathilakkam, Adyathe Kanmani, Swapnalokathe Balabhaskar and Rakshadhikari Baiju.
